The purpose of teacher blogs is to inform students and their families of day-to-day learning and activities throughout the school year.  We will continue to communicate learning opportunities and will provide links to online learning resources through these blogs.

Hello everyone, I hope that you have had a good week. It has been eventful with current events. We have been continuing to work on some of the basic processes for baking and in a kitchen. These are time management, planning and organisation. With the white cake you have been making cupcakes and practicing the creaming method. Overall we have been finding some struggles with meeting expectations for keeping the kitchen clean and completing the tasks on time. We will continue to practice next week.

Hello all, Good work this week. We continued to work in baking and looking at some of the fundamental techniques that are good to learn. We looked at whisking egg whites and incorporating them into pancakes to make them lighter. We also looked at creating cake, and using the techniques of making it homogenous, fluffy and light.
